Ste, I worked out that I would be paying £250 more for a 3g on contract with Vodafone than if I bought it in the shops. Taking into account you get 2GB per month for 24 months, I also worked out that was double what I use on the iPhone per month, so was not necessary. I therefore ended up buying...
Will it? Sell the old phone = at least £225 on Vodafone's website, more on eBay (quoting Vodafone's trade in as I don't know how much it's worth on eBay)... Surely that covers it? The rest of the reasons are on my mind.
Why? If you're poor buy a 4 now. If you have enough money buy the 4s and enjoy the benefits.
I'm waiting on the iPhone 17 to be built into my brain... I'll still buy 4s, 5,6,7...etc.
My contract is up/was up in July. I need a phone and the OH can have my 4.
If my contract wasn't up, I highly doubt I would be upgrading early.
Quite disappointed, but I get excited when I get something new like a gadget, so I'll live.
I can't work out the colour. Think it's one of those that I need to clean to appreciate!
Again, not sure on the car either, but photos can be very deceptive. Glad you've finally got something you were after though Nick.
Agreed but the warm water bath trick always sorts it for me. Plus I don't tend to advise new detailers to detail in winter. That's saved for the likes of you and I russ!!
I would disagree with putting off buying a lance. Mine comes in ultra handy for the 3 monthly wax strip. Filled with G101, covers the car, fresh start. £500 to spend will sort a proper detailing kit.
Nick, I can really add to the products above. That age of BMW is still likely to have hard...
Face lift interior as well as lights, so the only "parts bin" part will be the Amk 210 unit. Nothing wrong. All internals are the same apart from the likelihood of you needing to do the n249 by pass unless it's been done.
Remap to the same levels, k04 turbo etc.
Best colour, behind absolute...
Define work. Snow foam does very little, let's be honest. It's not TFR or a degreaser.
Search DW for dilution rates and costs by John at PB. Cheapest by far and works as well as any other.
Exactly what everyone says to start with. A year down the line when the next summer sun shows your swirls, they post up a thread entitled "newbie to detailing - how do I mask/get rid of swirls?".
No need for the wire wool Dave. As above, hair drier, blade to lift the corner, Tardis on a cloth to remove the residue.
Be aware that Tardis will harm leather, so be careful.
Once done, air the car and clean the windows with a window cleaning chemical.
