Hi rich.
It sounds as though you have your wash technique down to a tee.
Let's Concentrate on simple correction with a hand pad and a decent sealant.
For me, I would be using 203s on a light cut hand pad. Both available
From eBay or polished bliss/i4detailing/cleanyourcar.
Follow this up...
Here we go again.
Yes it does. It contains certain oils that remove the polish residues.
Failing that (and a cleaner method), WD40 or a pencil eraser or a JML magic sponge. All three are tried and tested by me, so I'm happy to suggest them. All three do require time and elbow grease...
Tar remover won't shift that. It barely shifts soft tar.
Jamie, start off with Tardis. If you haven't got any, find a local (Mikey aka Bifcaids or Chris) and borrow some for favours.
Failing that, a hand pad with the 203s we mentioned a while back. Have a go. Failing that, I would speak to a...
Riad, awesome photos fella. True talent right there, you should be bloody proud!
Looks like fun, shame I've missed yet another escapade out with you guys!
Go back to posting in General Tat.
I would suggest starting with a TFR or Traffic Film Remover. Then gradually up the chemicals if that doesn't s**t it.

Failing that, Tardis.
Failing that, IronX.
If this doesn't s**t it, your only route is an agressive clay, designed to...
A list;
Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Swissvax Autobahn
FK1000p
Chemical Guys Wheel Guard
Blackfire All Metal Sealant
GTechniq C5
All the above are good. Some are more expensive than others, due to their effectiveness.
Personally, C5.
Just to update this guys, iPad and iPhone User is a great mag (and I'm not just saying that because I now work for the same publisher).
Was sieving through this and MacWorld at lunch yesterday pre ordering an iPad.

Quite a few of the Meganes I've worked on or heard about are quite hard. I would test a panel with a mixture, something like 203s with a cutting pad should see excellent results in terms of cut and finish.
Hi guys.
Just weighing up the price plan I have with Vodafone for the iPad and having second thoughts.
How much data do you guys use per month while tethering your iPad to your iPhone?
I would be getting 2gb a month which seems a tad OTT... I get no where near that with my iPhone which is...
I still hold issue with this as you do need a cleaner. Technically all you need on paint work is water, but you will also need degreasers and other items. Leather cleaners will lift muck from the seats.
The conditioning side of things I totally accept I was wrong and appreciate the knowledge...
Judging by the stain on the trim, I'd say polish that has been left on too long... looks to be in the same area...
If you used SRP, use it again, but make sure you fully remove it this time. It will be fine. Don't fret.
