    Try them both. I came from a 4 to an S3, and in terms of feel the S3 feels much nicer to use (not as heavy, thinner, bigger screen), but it will be down to personal preference of course!

    You should be ok tbh, if not there should be a guide somewhere! It's probably no help, but for removing a mk2 airbox there were 2 screws holding the box to brackets, once they removed it just came out!

    There you go then as you said, the small filter goes on the breather, then you just replace the piping with that (very) small blue silicone you have. You may find you will need extra piping, but won't know until you try it!

    Pictures may help. Is the induction kit you've got even for a mk3 clio? No doubt it's just an open-cone filter with some pipework - replace your current airbox and pipework with that.
