Whats a good pad for polishing by hand??

Lake Country Light Cut Hand Pads are designed to make attempting to correct paint by hand a less arduous task, and have a moderate cutting action that will remove feint swirl marks and restore a high gloss finish when used in conjunction with light polishing compounds. Lake Country Polishing...

    Cheap Microfibre cloths (£0.52)

You joke. With moving down to London soon, I am very unlikely to be on as often during the day :(

    Cheap Microfibre cloths (£0.52)

They don't pass the "CD Test" Sash. In that when rubbed on a clean, new CD, they marr the surface. Therefore, they could scratch the paint surface on the car.

As above lad, a bit slow this morning again ;) ScrewFix ones are only good as "work towels" - not to be used on paint work.

Good to hear Mike buddy. Aucky, you'd be amazed at how well wheels will come up with a bit of TLC and some decent products like Tardis, IronX and a decent cleaner.

If you're buying from PB, go for Natty's Blue buddy. Well worthy wax (say that five times quickly!) and all for £15! SRP leaves a lot of dust, but will only leave a hard to shift residue if you apply too much of it.

    So much want!

You should see the one owned by Willy Wonka on here. Carol-Anne has even gone to the trouble of sourcing original size/make/tread patterns for the tyres. Mint doesn't quite cover it.

Don't dry between rinse and claying - it aids lubrication and reduces the possibility of marring while claying. Don't wash between SRP and LSP (Last Stage Product). You can't go wrong with Chemical Guys' Blitz Spray Sealant for looks and durability. Failing that, a nice wax like Natty's Blue...

Bad staining on wheels....what to use?

You're. Before drastic measures start being banded about, Mike, try some simple polish/cleaners. Have you tried SRP on a pad? Or a Menz polish like 203s? Or Lime Prime? All have a bit of cut and I would suggest will shift the marks no problem. Halifax as in West Yorks? If so, might be worth...

What type of wax to run through pressure washer.

I wouldn't go near it for a proper finish, but it will be a DemonShine-esque product. A liquid wax in a solution of sorts. Meh tbh. It might be easy to just "shove it in" etc, but it really doesn't leave as good a finish as a hand applied hard wax.
