Saw the Trophy this morning going to Worcester,
And saw the 1.2 (?) going into to Worcester from Malvern.
Would love to see if the 1.2 driver is on here, because you drove like an absolute tit.
I never understand why people supply parts to the garages, surely if the garage were going to rip you off then you wouldn't go there in the first place after a quote :S (fair enough if you're in the trade, but even so).
And as you said Dan, most reputable garage wouldn't touch parts a customer...
All Jessops within 20 miles had none of the ones I was looking at in stock, so I've just gone with delivery of the Tokina 11-16mm.
I can, under the DSR, return it within 7 days if it's not what I was after so that's always a bonus :)
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1027141 I came across this and it's good to see a ton of reviews for each lens, but still cannot decide which. I think the Tokina seems to be on top though
As per this thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?647653-Jessops-0-offer-anybody-else-taking-advantage
I'm finding it difficult to decide which Wide Angle to go for :(
The Tokina looks to be the best, but I'm worried that 11-16mm is not going to give me enough to work with!

Yep I'm Canon, hmm not sure now! I'm going into Jessops tomorrow and hopefully trying the Tokina, will have a look around at the other lenses but tbh I only hear good things about the Tokina and it seems highly recommended!
:)
So I'm skipping the Sigma 10-20mm completely, and now have another decision:
Tokina 11-16mm vs the Sigma 8-16mm. Tokina is sharper but has some CA (fixable in LR), but Sigma has wider angle and is cheaper build quality.
Decisions :(.

All true and well, but Kerso doesn't have either of the lenses, and my reasoning for getting one is the 0% offer :)
I checked on Camerapricebuster and tbh it's maybe £20 less at the cheapest place, so I'd write the £20 off as "interest" :D
Certainly seems like this Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 is the...
Wouldn't bother going for bhp, you'll spend a few ton and get ~15-20bhp. (Throttle bodies/RS-2 or something similar).
Upgrade your suspension/brakes and have some fun ;)
Yep, I was going to get my 550d on it but they had just taken it off, so just went all out.
Debating another lens now though, Tokina 11-16!
Apparently its a much better lens due to higher IQ, so may be worth the extra!
