JD - Your thoughts on Z5 and ZFX

Personally, it would depend on time scales. The ZFX was very impressive when mixed with Z2, but customer cars is when it really came into it's own. The idea being I can lay down more protection without worrying (so much) about curing times. Awesome :) Re Z5, I see no reason why not, with a top...

Have i got everything needed ?

Welcome to bankrupt anonymous. What car is this for? If it's a Clio, 203s is not required. Final Finish (FF) should be fine on Clio paint, but for the tougher marks, 3.02 Intensive Polish (IP) You have quite a few polishes listed, P1, 203s, 85 and Blackfire... Lime Prime is more of a prewax...

    found a bargain today

It depends how you look at it buddy. I bought one as my father saw them and asked for one for Xmas. He was a little bit of a guinea pig tbh as I knew it wouldn't have the desired effect. In fact I think I still have it hanging around somewhere, couple of quid for postage and it's yours. It's...

    found a bargain today

Guys guys guys, before you rush out and buy, there is a difference (surprise surprise); The one you guys have found, while there is nothing wrong with it, will be a Glimour-esque hose attachment - when used with snow foam/shampoo, you will get this affect; The second is a lance attachment...

Summer is coming (so now i need help) please

If you just want to strip back, a pre wax cleanser like Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite will do the trick. Or if you'd prefer a little bit of bite, Lime Prime. There are quite a few pre-wax cleaners out there, from Zymol and Swissvax and a few others. All work perfectly well and it's down to...

    What Microfibres...

I wash my gear after every use to keep them fresh (but don't dry them in a machine drier as it reverses the static and they don't pick up particles as well/at all). Smell wise it is not that bad. Dirt wise, you are basically wiping the tar off onto the MF.

    Help me get started!

OK buddy. But for the rest of us, AG Tyre dressing doesn't last, Tesco's Wheel Cleaner is better at cleaning drains, and EGP is a sealant... not a filler polish/glaze. Please don't lead n00bs down the wrong road when "I didn't have a spare bucket at the time" is the sort of comment you make...

Clay will only remove on the surface contaminants. Fall out remover goes deeper and lets the paint "breathe".

    Kent noodle mitt only £1

OK being the operative word. Most appear happy to use them on wheels or for dusting. Nothing wrong with going for it - that's how a new bargain comes about, but I have to say I will be sticking with my lambswool mitts for now.

    I am inclined to agree.

    What Microfibres...

I don't throw them in the bin - but they are used for lowly jobs. Therefore cheapo ones, but make sure they still pass the CD scratch test.
