Maybe just get a pair of part worn tyres for it ??
- I konw that some are against part worn tyres, but that's what you uaully get when you buy a secondhand car.
If you asked the seller if it was complete & they said yes it is, then fair enough. If you didn't ask them first then you can't really do much about it.
I'd go for something different colour wise as everyone is saying. I think that doing it LY is a complete waste of time & money tbh.
As it is at the min, you may as well just sell yours, add on the cost of the respray & buy an LY 182.

I've heard of valvers being on over 200k, when the engines were stripped they only showed minimal wear. Valver engines (if looked after) go on forever !
You don't say where your from dude, but in general that quote is quite a bit. How many point do you have ??
I used to pay £400 f/c when I was about 22, that was a few years ago though.
The valver (clio 1.8 16v) is only group 12.
I was with Elephant then.
The advert for it's not all that really, the pics are quite odd too - who would park there car on an massively un-even bit of gorund to take pics:S
The additional bits added to the side of it look naff, but can be easliy sorted out.
Sorry if it's someones on here, bit imo it's not a great...
I'd go & see it before placing a bid tbh, but as it only has five hours left on it, that might be a bit difficult.
It looks a very average example from the pics though (what I mean is, it looks the sort of car you'd get for £700)
I think that the 182 style exhausts on a 172 just don't look right for some reason. I realise that they are the same shape car & have the same rear bumper etc, but I don't know what it is they just don't look right.
