They will make it but it wont look anything like that and it will run on bioeth-vegy mix fuel,or something like that.

I have a slightly fettled vr6 highline and also a standard highline.
The standard one is not quite as fast as my mates 05 182 but once doing 80+ on the motorway he cant pull away in any gear.
My modded one which has a proven 195bhp.I have a ram-air forced induction and a boxter full system on...
I would say a lot of the current mild warm TDI's are not going to trouble a lot of 182 owners but move up a bracket and you have some very good cars.
This technology will move on and find itself in the smaller hatches in time.
Its only a matter of time until a car maker goes for broke and...
You may be interested to know that a porche cayenne laps round bedford quicker than a 182....Its in evo.The porsche is 1 tenth behind it on a wet track/v's the clio in the dry

The trophy was so good the editor of the mag bought one to park next to his zonda.

My only addition to this aurgument is that you have to spend alot of money on a TDI to beat a 182.A 150 golf wont do it.A re-map and then you close. My friend had his re-mapped and once rolling from say 40mph i could'nt get passed him right up to 3 figures.Seriously they are fast. However they...
Maybe never.Performance figures have'nt moved on imho since the 3-door cossie days.Saying that ,the way there being beefed up at the moment with airbags for your c**k in the seats ,there going to need 300bhp to keep up

The majority were waiting for the next step forward in power and handling. They have'nt got either. The base price without xenons and the likes i think is 16k.Thats more expensive than the full fat 182 iirc.so they have'nt moved anything on,especially for the enthusiasts on here.It may have moved...
All i can say is WOW
Imagine that with a re-map
