Bird droppings are acidic, not basic...
I was always under the impression that due to:
NH3 + H2O <-> NH4+ + OH-
this creates Ammonia ions, which are circa pH7-9. However, due to the birds actually producing Uric Acid, unlike Urea from humans.
Cool :cool:
Oh and I learnt a new term...
Yeah it still sounds like condensation to me buddy. When I do the same in the morning, mine will "haze" over again, so reuse the wipers a few times and stick the heat to the screen.
Give the screen a polish with AG Glass Polish on both sides and this should prevent it. I am currently awaiting...
Fair assumption Dave, I'd missed that part of your point :)
If you want a better alternative, looks at Chem Guys Blitz Spray, (altogether Kev...) FK1000p or one of the thousands of others on the detailing sites :)
Sounds more internal to me buddy. When did you last clean the inside of the screen?
Blowers blowing out heat will clean condensation marks from the interior as well as helping you to see more clearly. In rain, I have my screen heaters on low and (when needed due to beadageee!!!) my wipers on.

Then seal/top it off with Auto Glym Bumper Care, 303 Aerospace...
IMO SRP will always live on my detailing shelf, because it is so user friendly.
I will also always suggest SRP/EGP as it can be bought in Halfords/Local motor shops. I tend to make the distinction between people interested in detailing and people who just want a good finish in a couple of...
"The Bugatti Veyron-rivaling One-77 will boast 750bhp and 553lb ft of torque, provided by its monstrous 7.3-litre V12 engine. While those figures fall short of the Veyron’s 1000bhp and 922lb ft, the Bugatti achieves those by strapping four turbochargers to the car’s sixteen-cylinder engine...
There are much better products out there, but for people who want a cheap easy option from Halfords, I agree.
I really wouldn't. There are much much better waxes out there, for the same price.
