What the glaze or the sealent? Glaze is to mask swirls and defects and bring out a great depth to the paintwork. Sealent is to... seal the paint.

As above, photos, then I can help Kerry. Re the F40 paint, it is the weave of the CF if memory serves that comes through the paint, therefore making it look transparent.
