I thought you only got more lag when you used a larger turbo, cause it took longer for it to spin up ? didnt know that a larger intercooler would cause lag ?
as long as its on the face of the disk it will dissapear as soon as you plant the brake pedal.
zodiac51, that looks really nice, I personally dont like it when people paint there calipers a different colour to the car (unless you paint them black/silver)
You should try and get one of those keycard units.. you know the ones you keep in your pocket and it recognises you when you get in the car so you just push the start button. Just get one from the new renualt laguna and try and get all the extras ? might be possible, then you just hook up the...

I have the T-1s on the front axle of my car and it made a big improvement, in the wet they arent brill, but in the dry they are superb, especially once run in and heated up, they are such a soft compound its like glue.
Forget Peak power etc.. get the RMS rating for you HU.
Then make sure that speakers you get are at the very least able to handle the RMS rating of your HU. But remeber..
Generally if you have a 400w speaker and a 40w speaker and you play 5w through both the 400w will have better sound...
Nah your wrong its gravity fed ;)
As for optimax I will go out of my way to get it as my car runs crap on anything but optimax, if feels lazy on super or unleaded, probably all in my head but whatever works eh ?
bummer, maybe the wiring or partial wiring is still there, my 172 has the glove box light fitted, for all it costs you think they would have made it standard.
ye there is all the HID control kit that you need too, not just the headlights cause the xenons need somthing like a 10,000 volt surge to kick the into action, kinda like the starter on strip lighting in kitchens.
The most recognition I have had from a clio owner was when I was stopped at a set of lights and the pulled up next to me with their windows down, I heard the guys mate say "hey look thats a 2 litre !!" and his mate going "cool" but thats it.. i dont think they even knew it was a 172.
Well there is no shame in putting millage on a car if you ask me cause it means you must enjoy driving it !
Although saying that my car is now on 17K and its about 1.5 years old so average miles
What a bunch of jelous tw*ts.. best thing to do is take it as a compliment.. they are only doing it because they cant afford a beautifull car such as the one you own.
Its not a common issue as most of the owners make sure they get the correct offset. ;)
You could always try pulling out the sh*t gaurds, that ought to clear a bit of extra room under the arches, I wouldnt touch the calipers though.
LOL = Laughing out loud (it has always stood for that since it was invented)
IMHO = In my humble opinion
ROFL = Rolling on floor laughing
LMFAO = Laughing my f**king ass off
PMSL = Pissing my self laughing
BRB = Be right back (wont be used on a BB though)
AFK = Away from keyboard...
Hmm, I am just about to replace the front tyres again, they lasted about 10k miles. but then again they are proxies so the compound is very soft, and I have the occassional outburt with the accelerator and corners.
But as you can pick up proxies for £39 per corner its not that expensive.
