Re: My cars offroad , F**k** Post office
I thought your insurance certificate had to have your reg number on it, otherwise anyone could use any insurance certificate to tax their cars. My reg number is on mine. Are you sure your insurance company haven't made a c**k-up?
I had a 1.4 RT Alize for 3 years. Got recalled during the first year for a potentially lethal throttle problem. Had to take it back a few months later with a gear linkage problem (dealer reckoned it was going to need gearbox work and would take over 12 hours. Got it back 4 hours later). I...
It does not matter if it is a special order. If you have told them what car it is for and what part you need, it is down to them to order the correct part. I had a similar problem and the dealer refused to take the parts back. I got onto the Officer Of Fair Trading, he told me that it was the...
I would say, if your car is still under warranty and this is a known RS problem, contact Renualt UK and see if they will agree to them being replaced under warranty. If they do, the dealer will have no choice but to do it for you. Good luck.
This was more annoying than funny. When the ph2 Renault 19 came out, we went to Wilsons in Epsom to see if we could get a test drive. The salesman informed us we could not have a test drive unless we promised to buy it. When we said we wanted to see what it was like to drive before we commited...
I only pay £125 a year for mine but I havent got a sport. It annoys me about the state of our roads too. They always seem to be digging them up and re-surfacing but it never makes them any better. I would class some of the roads around our way as pretty dangerous, darn great holes and major dips...
Our 13 year old 1.2 fidji is quite nippy for a runabout. I think she is pretty good on fuel too although I don't know how many mpg she does as we haven't taken that much notice of it to be honest. We went and spent £90 yesterday on new leads, plugs, distributor cap, air filter and new wheel...
Hmmm. I don't like those doors at all. What if (God forbid) the guy rolled it and it ended up on its roof? He's not exactly going to be able to push the doors open is he? I suppose he could try and climb out of the windows. Definitely not my cup of tea.
I totally agree. I also have a 1.6 (had a 1.4 RT Alize before ) and the insurance isn't that bad either. It's a group 8, it does put you in the higher tax bracket, but well worth it if you can afford it. In saying that, if insurance is an issue I would go for a 1.4 instead of a 1.2 and most...
Tee hee. I got completely hooked last night. Thank your lucky stars that I didn't post them all! Lmfao
It is a pretty good site though. Come on clever people, we want a similar one for Clio's. Pretty please. ;) :D :D
