Each to their own I suppose. I just personally think £15 from Renault for a new badge isn't bad considering todays prices. I know it may only be plastic but when you consider it, £15 really isn't loads of money these days. I paid £36 for a new hazard switch to be fitted. I got out of there...
When you consider inflation these days, I wouldn't say £15 for a badge is exactly breaking the bank, infact as Renault prices go I would say that's quite good. It seems some people really do expect some things for virtually nothing these days.
It sounds good, but with the Renault dealers around our way, I dont have a cat in hells chance of getting a test drive being as they won't even get a 1.6 Dynamique S in for people to drive. The more I look at the new Clio though, the less I like it.
I really have been put off by the new...
In my opinion if you want something with more umph but don't want to be crippled on insurance, get a 1.6 16v Clio. They are only a group 8 insurance and are as nippy as f**k for a 1.6 and handle really well. I have no complaints about power , she certainly seems to have plenty of it. I couldn't...
Erm well, I really do admire your guts for wantng to be different and following it through. I also appreciate the time, effort and money that went into it. In my opinion though, it kind of looks like it belongs on a 70's disco dance floor. 10/10 for originality, but definitey not my cup of tea...
Well, I have good suspension now (Eibachs), and she now well and truely out handles my Hubbys 2ltr Megane Coupe. He can't shake me off of his arse either. She's a nippy little beast. :D I wouldn't mind having a drive in a 182, although I reckon I might s**t myself. Hahaha.
Yep I have to agree there. I have an 03 1.6 16v and it goes like a rocket, well not literally, but it's bloody quick for a 1.6! Fast enough for me anyway. ;)
Oh bloody hell, what a mess he's made. You say the guy had a driver because he was going blind, looks like the bloody driver was blind if you ask me! Hope you get it all sorted out with the minimum hastle mate. Good luck.
Personally speaking, I wouldn't worry if it hasn't had it's 1st service as it has had three others since. I would have also thought that whatever should have been done on the 1st service would probably have been done on the 20k service anyway. There could be a chance that it did have it's 1st...
Really gutted for you. At least the other guy admitted liability, and fingers crossed your car can be repaired. The most important thing though is that you are ok, cars can be replaced people can't. Good luck mate.
Hiya. You are one hell of a lucky 17year old! That's nice car you have there, I would agree to lose those wheels and spolier though. !6" wheels ( OZ Super T GT's or something like Team Dynamiics Equinox), and 30-40mm drop would be excellent.
To be honest, I think you are going to have to...
Sounds like you had a right close call there. I'm glad you managed to get out of it aright. I have't had any problems like that with my Clio, although I do believe the front brakes might now need replacing. I dislike ABS at the best of times, but when the pads are wearing abit low it sems they...
