In evos fast fleet they have a blue v6 and the motoring editor, john barker loves the car but hasnt seen another one on the road and would like to hear input from other ownwers about their experiences.
He still has the oringinal tyres on it at over 10k.
You can e-mail at...
just buy a 182,there just as quick and then take your interior out of that and if youve got stipes thats 10 bhp over standard anyway so its bound to be quicker
(i can hear a tsunami approaching fast)lol
it is tape but it would be ok for £50 not £295 and yes i think it will hold some value down the road,im not to sure about them myself but if its only tape id keep it and put it on when i sell

The one i like is when renault build all there cars abroad and then only some are u.k and some are imports
Also the way you buy an import for £12000 and a u.k for £14800 and then they tell you that if you have an import it will affect your warranty, there the same car for christs sake
But as...
I think there a bit new ,i cant find anything on the net(only the old ones )
If there good enough for an M3 CSL then i think your car will cope ok.
Regards,ian
It should have been that or higher neil, the focus rs suspension copes with it so it would of been good and it would,nt of trod on the toes of the rs too much either

The cup has 170 bhp at6250rpm
The 182 has 180 at 6500

The 182 has 148/5250..
The clio also comes in that gorgeous blue and to evo it evokes memories of the renault 8 gordini and ligier F1 cars, also why does everyone jump straight onto the 0-60 debate, what a load of crap. Why has knowone mentioned that it beat the ctr they had there or the fact that its got stiffer springs...
They use all the same stuff as autocar and they can drive too and they drive real cars only not stuff like turbo diesel protons and big citoen picassos lol
just read this article and the williams does really well, even after getting out of a nsx the guys couldnt believe how good it was.It even chases a 550 maranello down the twisties.Overall it gets better reviews than the subaru p1 (sorry mitchy)the old 911 turbo(it was to scary on wet roads...
Evo landed on the doormat this morning and in it is the 182(with stripes)and it gets to go up againnst the CTR,cooper s,focus, and 206 180 and it beats them all
They claim it is an intensified version of the cup because it has and i quote
"Dark anthracite alloys identify this 182 as having...
Had my car in this week because its been playing up,every now and then it has been jumping.(not the cold jumping as well known)i rang renault who said it was the cold morning sensor(lmao)which for EU regs meant the car runs leaner to allow less emitions..
I let it go that week(last)but then...
I run them on my 172 and they are very good.In the dry they are fantastic and ive always had yokos or goodyear f1s on my previous cars.In the wet its up to you,i dont know a tyre thats "good" in wet weather, just how far your limits are.
They are only £40 a go on...
It didnt say any particular model just a general badge..
Still cant get over subaru, the boxter only costs £670 on average.
A full service and cam belt on a ferrari 360 only costs £1400
Ian
In the news of the world today theres an article on servicing and warranty work and the clio is only just piped to the post by the ford KA,with an average cost of £128.54.
I always thought they were bad until i saw the worst offender which was subaru who on average return a bill to there...
EU law says every new car has to have the 3 yr warranty...If anyone like a dealer says otherwise then there just trying to fob you off.Seen as there is no renault factort in the u.k then they are all imports really. All you have to do is register your car with a renault dealer when you get it...
Wait till the 182 s been out for a while then see the price drop a bit then buy one.
I love my 172 so they should be great if thats what you like.(lack of trim)
Not being funny in any way, just the old driving vs loungin to work drive.
