Lies. All lies. Clay bar, Megs quick clay kit from Halfrauds is the quickest and easiest option. Not engine and machine cleaner, no. But acidic cleaners like Wonder Wheels etc will make the paint look dull.

Polish, Super Resin from Auto Glym. Wheel cleaner, AG Engine and Machine cleaner, polish, then seal with poorboys wheel seal. Then you will only need warm soapy water. Extra gloss protection for simple sealent, Chem Guys Blitz for better stuff. Done.

Break down with PC doesn't work, it just doesn't generate the right temp on the pad. Silverline is no problem in any weather. Cut the R8 back the other evening with some 85 and sealed her up gooooood.

Anthra is the way to go. Alex, don't do RS wings and sides, too much money, hence why I didn't. Do subtle, lesser expensive things, take it to FCS and enjoy it looking mint. Then sell for an RS once you have a couple of years driving under your belt + insurance drops.
