With the wheels done in silver or anthracite it would look a lot better. Other than the colour of them i like them. The car looks very vice - how clean is that engine bay !!

Have you got pics ? Tbh I think you should have bought wheels with the correct offset in the first place. Other than that (as you say) build the rear arches out. I personally think that r5 gtt arches will look naff on a clio as they are square.

My dads has done it a bit, his 172 is on 40k he wears jeans a lot too. Mines fine, the seats are totally mint (phase 1 seats though) it's on 28.5k

You could fit valver arches on, they're wider. Not sure what you'd do for the back though. Or alternatively just get your wheels machined down to a more sensible offset.
