Lol @ SRP'ing it!
I was under the impression that Honda paint was soft, but also quite tacky/sticky. Previous experience only though. I wouldn't think it would need anything to harsh from the Menz range Justin. Probably 203?
Steel wool has always been a must with exhausts. Usual for me is ITR, then steel wool with a decent metal polish, then finish with SRP to get rid of finer scratching.
I know :( lol!
Aye, it is better in terms of cost, as you will use a lot of AG ITR, and at 6.50 or what ever a bottle, that soon amounts up. Plus the massive can of Tardis means you are never popping up to halfrauds just after starting a detail, lol!
Why did I think I was talking to Trev aka Tigger, lol! Must be the Monday morning syndrome! Plus you have a gay coloured car ;)
You're in mainland UK you numpty, get it posted!!
Shouldn't do Richy, how long did you leave it for?
Btw, good or bad thing, I put mine in a spray bottle and spray it on to the areas I need to de-tar. Leave it to work in, then wipe off.
You realise that you need to polish after use though, right?
Lakeland County pads.
For n00bs DAs are the best bet as Kev has stated. They do achieve the necessary break down of polishes . . . otherwise I would have upgraded years ago. I have not seen the need for a rotary yet. Yes time factors would make me move in readiness for the German paint coming...
Good work Russ, but amazed you got round that in 8 hours! 8 hours would see me for a Clio sized car, i.e. 10am-6pm, but not something larger like a Golf!
