Cheers Brian, I can't see any prices though :S
T3RRY - do you know if a ctr one will fit on it ?? I tried my dads standard one from his mk2 172, but it was totally different the thread was a bit smaller too (plus it would have looked rubbish)
Does any one know the size of the standard...
Lol, true - the one which sold the other week is superchipped, with different exhaust & filter on it, he's on the v6 forum too.
Mines the other one (standard)
Just need to track down the other 6 in the country now;)
As my roof ariel is a bout 12 feet long :dapprove: I quite fancy a nice shorter one,
what's best to get & where from ?? Obviously I don't want the radio quality to suffer.
Some pics would be great, this is the normal ariel at the front of the roof, non bee sting type.
Thanks.
It's been on there for ages now (months in fact) there was another one on there too the other week, the other one was 21k !
I'm not that into lunar Grey tbh, reminds me of those ghastly Audi TT's, it also looks llike primer !
Depends on how well it's been looked after tbh, you get good ones & bad ones. The proof apart from seeing the actual car will be the stack of bills & other stuff they should have with it.
If they've only got a service book with a couple of stamps in & nothing else, i'd leave it.
I'm not a fan of either of the Wolfrace wheels posted up, they look a bit too bling for my liking. I'd go with a set of 182 alloys & spotof lowering tbh.
Unless you want the car to stand out with the Wolfrace alloys ?
It's 24v, weight wise i think it's about 1330 or so kg. I do know that a mk2 is dead on 1400 kg.
From speaking to an ex mk1 vee owner, he said that it's pretty equal up to 120mph (where allowed) with that & a standard Fiat Coupe 20vt (the car I had previousy) 0-60 is around 6 secs. The pull on...
That is really strange, deffo get the five years proof in writing.
With regard to ncd - it used to be two years. Maybe it's changed then as everyone else has said one year, maybe it depends on the insurer ?
It's one of only eight Illiad Blue mk1's in the UK:cool: so it's very rare (not as rare as Dash's vee as his is the only one in that colour)
I could have had an early mk2 for my budget, but i'm hoping to change career, so wanted to keep some cash. I can always get a mk2 later on if I fancy:)
Totally different mate. I've only driven it twice, i've never had a car like it before (rwd, rear engined)
The vee grips like sh*t on a rug in the dry & it's mint round bends. I have no idea about the wet yet though- i'm going to be very sensible when it's though.
I don't drive erratically at...
