160bhp sounds pretty decent TBH. The 172 refers to 172PS = 169.6bhp. But all rollers vary on how they process at the fly figures. Closest thing really is to compare at the wheel figures, even then, don't think you can really compare with other rollers. 1*2 is short for "172 or 182"

Loads of space between the wheel and the edge of the arch, that's why quite a few people have fitted spacers, to decrease this gap. With a lower et wheel, it'll fill that gap better. As soon as I put mine on, I loved the difference! Have a look at spacer threads in the media section.

That's mad to get you to do it there and then. If it was a good job, you shouldn't be able to pick at it anyway. My dad had to get the company that fitted them to remove them!
