Re: O2 Forever ? (Nope, its coming to Orange)
Orange made an update yesterday
Limits are 750MB for mobile data and a separate 750MB for BT Openzone wi-fi. Some people apparently have been thinking the wi-fi cap would apply to their home networks too so Orange had to clarify. Doubt it'll...
Got to be a great feeling buying an old car you loved and getting it back. Does it feel just as good as you remember?
9 172s inbetween?! Have you owned the most Renault Sports on here? And now 9 cars lol how do you choose what to drive?
Standard wheels are 16". I'd say go for 16s, best compramise between looks and handlings. 17" can look ok for a select few wheels but if you read about on here, you'll see that people see handling is much better on 16s than 17s. 15s look a bit small and don't look great unless you're lowered...
If air con and heating/cooling fans are totally off, then air comes through footwells. To stop this, switch fan settings to just windscreen, and put to lowest speed setting, temp won't really matter and make sure ac is off obviously to save petrol of you don't need it. This will close vents to...
172 standard wheels are et48. I'm now on et38 and lowered 50-60mm. Got 205/45/16 on the back and have no probs, fronts are 195/45/16 and do get a bit of scrubbing but think that may be due to remains of the bumper bracket inside the front arches.
Just to note if you're going to carry...
Could always have been fitted with an aftermarket alarm (normally more reliable too!).
I think imports came with no alarm (but still the same cat 2 immobiliser), no locking wheel nuts and no window etching. All paperwork should be in English.
They're not like grey imports, they are UK specs...
Thought it was worth mentioning since a lot of people don't know that, even I think in Top Gear Clarkson said it was 182bhp for the 182, and even insurers see my 172 as 172bhp, so if I can get it upto 180bhp on the rollers, it's technically to them only an 8bhp increase!
Am down at Surrey's rr...
160bhp sounds pretty decent TBH. The 172 refers to 172PS = 169.6bhp.
But all rollers vary on how they process at the fly figures. Closest thing really is to compare at the wheel figures, even then, don't think you can really compare with other rollers.
1*2 is short for "172 or 182"
iPhone PAYG has free wifi and data bundle for the first 12 months, £10/month thereafter. On pay monthly, its included in all iPhone tariffs for the length of the contract.
The free wifi relates to wifi points around the country, 9000-ish places in the cloud agreement IIRC. So can use the wifi...
I completely misread this thread title and thought it was about falling out of clios and was expecting questions about buckets and harnesses lol
Things can go wrong with any car, its just hurts more when you love it more, which I assume you do since its modded.
Why you going with another company? Do you have legal cover with your insurers? They'll be able to take care of everything for you and claim every cost including injury from the insurers of the guy that hit you. Your insurance will be affected just slightly if it's even affected at all.
My...
Cheers mate. I used standard bolts, didn't really think about it at the time, tyre fitters didn't say anything because they swapped wheels for me. The one I tested myself seemed to be ok, plenty of thread going into the hub from memory.
Any particular reason mate?
lol cheers!
Cheers peeps. Will get a coloured-caliper 'shop and decide from there.
Splitter will be soon. Just deciding which one and got tax and MOT first, and maybe some inlets and a remap before too.
Not sure on how I feel with the coilies being so obvious (worst condition wheel, the rest are almost mint so will get this one refurb'd),
Think my calipers need painting, thinking of yellow at the moment,
Wasn't sure how black would look on Monaco, wasn't a huge fan from pics...
What network are you on? These are o2 setting for non-iphone contracts http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/settings.html for iphone PAYG or contract, settings should be easily found on the net.
As for the apps, 3rd party from where? Cydia? Is it mobile substrate needed them to work? Or Appsync for...
Loads of space between the wheel and the edge of the arch, that's why quite a few people have fitted spacers, to decrease this gap. With a lower et wheel, it'll fill that gap better. As soon as I put mine on, I loved the difference! Have a look at spacer threads in the media section.
That's mad to get you to do it there and then. If it was a good job, you shouldn't be able to pick at it anyway. My dad had to get the company that fitted them to remove them!
No worries, glad to help.
Bore is 60.1 on both mk1 and mk2. Did a quick search. 172 ph2 wheel is et48 as well. Which means that your wheels will stick out 11mm each side, but like I said mine are 38 and still got space. Bonus is it'll look better too!
Couple of threads on this page of the...
