It looks awful. They did a mk2 phase 1 version as well, as i've seen a few kitted up to be exact repicas of the 172, they don't look too bad (well for a van !)

yep, you can block loads of things on there to stop dodgy people from bidding. You can also make the item only available to 'pre approved' bidders too.

So rain (in the yellow bottle) is quite crap then ? I've got it, but i've never used it. With regard to wiper blades, I always buy Bosch ones, they are really cheap on ebay (loads cheaper than halfrauds) they work really well.

195/50 will be the cheapest - sod putting cheap tyres on your car though. Should easily be able to get a decent make in 195/50 cheaply.

I've seen & read about that french valver with the 172 engine in it, as said - it was a total b**ch to do. I think it involved a lot of cutting of stuff. The actual car it's in looks like a heap though. I think they also put the interior in it too (I may have got that bit wrong though) but...

Tbh it's only worth using them on older cars with a bit of mileage on - that's why I was asking how many miles it has done etc.

Read the sellers auction;) he messed up the listing first time round. A mk1 v6 has 17" wheels the mk2 has 18" wheels. There is no point on bidding on them unless you have a v6 as they will not fit any other clio.

How old is your 182 ? Mileage on it ?

With elephant & bell etc, it's always worth checking the excess as well ! Some times it's £650 !!! especially on young drivers - thats how some of the time they are cheapest.

Re: Need to sell a Clio 1.8 16v..HELP Valvers are a bit of a pain to work on. It goes wthout saying that you'd need an MOT on it if you actually wanted to drive it, even if you just wanted it as a cheap run around.

Nice one, i'm looking to come back to a clio now (I sold the 16v about 18 months ago now) Then I went Italian (I had a mint Fiat coupe 20v turbo Plus which I sold last month) I'm now looking for a V6 either a mint mk1 or a mint early mk2:) You still work at Gallows ?
