I much prefer the new front bumper, skirts and spoiler. Thank god that weird rear bumper splitter look thing has gone! Not keen on the boot lid though, I think it might look better silver so the spoiler contrasts a little.

Because at lift off oversteer the back will be extra slidy and also under extremely heavy braking, as the weight transfers to the front, the rear will have less grip in relation to the front and if you've got grippier tyres at the front, it will have even less relative grip. Someone on here...

From some point in July 2002 they came with ESP and a button to partially switch it off. CD changer was standard till Nov 2002 then became an option. That's as detailed as my knowledge goes but I think that's pretty much it.

You don't really want better gripping tyres on the front. Better to have new tyres (when you change) or grippier tyres on the rear.

A discussion in another thread said the smaller height makes the plate illegal as the plate is suppose to have a certain width border all around the letters. I doubt the fuzz would notice this much though driving past.

Similar thing happened twice on my 1.4 clio, was the auxiliary belt coming off. Luckily both times were fixed by the RAC guy. 1st guy just refitted, 2nd time the guy replaced it with a belt he had in his van I think. Think the groves of the belt had worn down as it was rubbing on something.

Tell the truth about it, don't be a c**t and disable it.
