I thought the camera was poor. On screen quality didn't seem as sharp as the iphone IMO. The video was good though, not far off N95 quality I thought. Only judging by using the phone screen, didn't get to see them on a computer or TV.
I'm still swaying atm. SLRs have always appealed to me with my dad and uncle having them, just seeing what deals I can get. Will be a sizeable amount more for a DSLR as I'll need a tele lens too. My current camera is pretty old too now, although allows for full adjustability, it lacks in quality...
FZ28 I think.
I've been looking at one too but might save for a DSLR, but the FZ28 seems to do all very well, so may comparise some quality for price, size and HD movie mode (although the sound isn't amazing). Good price too. I found the camera, bag, spare battery, 16 GBs of memory cards and...
Elephant renewals are a joke! This renewal and last year, I did the quote online and it was £130-140 cheaper both times! Last year I rang them and told them, they sorted it during that call. This year, Flux are cheaper with more miles and any non-power mods for free. And even if I get the car up...
Had my parents on my policy for the last few years, saved a lot. Latest quote with Highway via Adrian Flux told me ading drivers wont cheapen the quote. Think it works with the everyday insurers and not the hot hatch/modded specialists.
I've used the rear light to stop a girl tailing me at 80mph when there was no where to go ahead of me as traffic, but all flowing fast.
It worked...for the the first 4 times. She clocked on after and wouldn't budge. Didn't want to actually brake test her as didn't want to damage my car or be...
LOL yeah I'm sure it is a bit sad but I was the same. Around early summer last year I finally decided a 172 was my choice and was so excited and started inquiring about sales before I could even afford it. Saved up all summer and found mine in November. Hated not finding a good example for a few...
I have my Xenons on auto so they come on when its a bit dark and I always have them on anyway as I think its safer.
In my old cars, if it was dark enough for side lights, then its dark enough for main lights.
Standard side light bulbs have that creamy, orangy glow (best I can describe it!)...
Noticed today that with there seems to be some light reflection into the inner part of the light, where the side lights are, from the Xenons. So it actually looks as if there is a faint white side light very near to the Xenons. Perfect colour match to the Xenons (obviously) and no birght spot...
Always avoid Renault Slough, ridiculously overpriced compared to other Renault dealers alone to start with.
Brilliant, that's the place I've been looking for but couldn't remember the name.
If you did 2 x 10 months schemes then you'll have 2yrs NCB. Think you'll have to check with other companies if they'll accept it as 2yrs or just the 1 as its not 24 months. Sounds like its company specific.
I'm sure that's how it was when I took out my policy but it may have changed now according to this:

Worth looking into it mate just in case.
Edit: Last paragraph of this says some companies may not accept a NCB from a 10 month policy...
I personally am against these schemes. They only work if you stay with the company for 5 years and if you have no accident. Yes you can get 5yrs NCB after 4 years and 2 months but if you move to another insurer you can only normally declare 4yrs NCB. Same applies after the 10 months, you don't...
That isn't bad for a 172 at 18! I paid that for a 1.4 with 3 points and a fault accident when I was 18. Am sure it was harder back then to get cheaper insurance lol
Post 23 from Englebert shows Monaco with tints.

Sportlines on a 172 will only give around 30-35mm drop. A search in the media section should come up with quite a few pics so you can see how much that effectively is.
If insurance at 18 on a 172 isn't too bad, I would have thought adding coilies wouldn't have been a significant increase compared to the premium they'd want standard.
There's a 'shop of my car tinted, will try and find it for you.
Looks awesome mate! Really want to get a cup spoiler for mine, think it finishes the back end perfectly.
How is the colour match? Would have thought Monaco is a bit harder than the others to get right.
lol that didn't take long.
To be cool? Are you 12? I did it purely to have a slightly different look to the car, and didn't want to pay for LEDs or white bulbs incase I didn't like them so have removed them. I do not think the car is unroadworthy if you still have main lights on. I've never...
Cheers guys, just the answers I was hoping for. Looks much better than with the creamy glow next to the Xenons.
That's what I was thinking of doing.
Just thought I'd try it and see what my mates think. Seems good so far so shall keep for a while.
Was going to get some LEDs but removing...
Anyone had any problems?
Have taken mine out and hoping its all safe and won't cause any lights to come on the dash after a while or issues when deciding to keep them in after being out for a while, etc?
Not sure if the same one.
Saw on Egham Hill going past the uni at 1pm.
Then coming from Ascot side over the small roundabout just after the tunnel of trees 630-645pm.
Was Mondial and looked lowered on coilies.
Re: iPhone 3.0 Discussion
I hope there aren't multiple iPhones, I just want one that is feature packed. Likely to be better value if just one model.
Thought I read somewhere this was to increase sales on existing stock before new iphone release in the summer.
I wouldn't have thought too far off Ivan. See what its like after the service and then decide about the lambda. Wouldn't the lambda issues show up on an MOT when they do the gas test? When was it last MOT'd and what were lambda figures like?
I get 30-33mpg across a tank but I'm either in slow...
