Anyone actually got the TV feature working.
I read it was trialed in 2006 in Oxford and Cambridge but can't find out if its national yet.
I'd be well tempted to buy it if I could watch Dave on it, but its not on channel list :( N85 and i-player otherwise
You can only use NCB on 1 policy but what most companies will do, is if you take out a second policy with the SAME company, they will give you a discount equivalent to that NCB.
But as said above, your Mum might have to be the main driver, and so therefore, technically voiding your insurance...
A lot of ph1s £2-3k, some ph2s starting at £3k, most from around £3.5k upwards.
This ph2 is not so far away from me, I'm considering a viewing but cambelt details sound dodgy, and the dealer seems very adimant to no offers, told me not to come down if I'm only considering to offer him less...
Leics is miles away from me, but thanks all the same mate.
I've roughly got a £4k budget, can spend more if its worth it but I'd prefer not to. Will see how prices are over the next few weeks and see what becomes available. Have seen some cars on the market for the last few months, but sure...
That's a lot more than general depreciation tho isn't it.
Guessing its due to economical hard times for some, but you nailed my point, they have fallen a lot recently, I am wondering if they are likely to continue falling a lot in the run up to Christmas.
As I explained before I was only referring to a significant saving within the next 2 months, so that I would be able to afford a car of less age and mileage for the same price as today. Obvs a car will get cheaper, in 6 months, 12 months etc, but it will also be older with higher miles.
I'm...
I wont be waiting past Christmas to save more, just wondering if I'll be able to get more for my money within the next couple of months, ie. newer car with less miles.
For example, for the average price of a 02 plate with 60k miles today, will I be able to get an average 03 plate with 50k miles...
Sorry, I meant those who think its worth selling to save on tax, insurance, petrol, etc. There will be a point where they will think if they sell at a lower price, it'll actually be more expensive overall (inc cost of new car) to not bother replacing. Obviously, a normal car will decrease in...
I hate it when my Dad's right :( lol
I've been holding out for a good condition car with full history at a good price, finding all three of those points has been near impossible so far (which I expected so not moaning), so maybe holding out a couple of months longer will bring me something.
I thought that level of sarcasm was saved for the 172FF threads ;)
I'm not expecting them to go back up, I was wondering if prices are at the lowest they will be now and will they maintain at this low until next year or get cheaper still?
Surely there will be a point where people will...
Having an arguement/discussion with my Dad, he reckons I could save a few hundred on a ph2 172 (around £3.5k-4k currently) buying it in Nov/Dec instead of now.
What do you guys reckon?
s**t sorry to hear this.
If they dumped the WRX, they'll prob leave the 172 somewhere soon, lets hope so!
Even if you get the keys back, I'd prob still change the key blade.
What a shitter mate! Hope you blew your top off at him. How did he manage to hit it so bad?
Real shame to see a quality car take a hit.
Yeah I'd make sure you get money off him before having any work done, otherwise if he says do it via insurance afterwards, then you might not get paid for...
I think they all had TC, it was only in 2002 or 2004 I think that ESP became standard.
Pretty sure I test drove a 51 or 02 and felt like it had TC kicking in cos of crap worn tyres.
Get the pics up quick once fitted!
Think they look good mate, will defo go with your euro look imo.
What colour are you going for for the middle? Any cream going on it?
I've only test driven some 172s so far mate, and tbh I've not really thought any of the clutches were that stiff. Unless Clio clutches are generally stiff?? After 5 mins in the car, I was fine with it.
The Civics I've known, Type R and normal all have had soft clutches. My mums 95 Civic has a...
lol i was thinking the same, but for a mo, thought you were anouncing a new addition to your family lol
£4.5k should get you a good ph2 mate.
I've seen a few around 03/53 plates in this price with around 50-70k miles and with decent body work. But keep looking, like I am, and hopefully...
Welcome to CS (if you haven't left already).
Best place for info and knowledge of clios and general banter.
I miss my mk1 a bit, it felt so light and chuckable. You'll love it.
FPMSL!
I was in stictched after that!
LOL
I thought these were out of production? I was looking for a set of 18s when I was going to buy a Golf GTI but couldn't find them anywhere but ebay.
Don't know the exact printer, but maybe turn down the level of quality a bit?
If you don't want to go any lower, try reducing the amount of ink used per print, I find on most printers that even turning it to the lowest, the print is great. No loss in quality, just less ink on the page so...
But according to the new reg rules, it can only have an X in certain areas, so all imports would have to be registered in certain parts of cities/counties. But will look into that.
I was thinking it's just come of private plate so maybe systems not updated yet etc, that's what I meant that it...
