Saw another 172 yesterday. When it came to test drive, guy just gave me the keys and said down there is a decent road. Needless to say it got pushed hard. I was fairly sensible as brakes and tyres didnt seem great. But put a big smile on my face, shame about the rest of the car :(

How do you mean its not worth it? Surely its peace of mind for a 2nd hand buy. I ended up using a sellers warranty on my 1st clio when my head gasket went, saved me at least £500 that did, although that was the 1 month warranty free with the car.
