Get some Meguirars applicator pads from Halfords. Rub in circular motions until there is a haze. Then wipe off with a clean microfibre towel, again from Halfords.
In all honesty, any thing is worth a try lad. I highly doubt there is going to be much you can do, or even much more damage that you can do. Give it a whirl. Can't be worse than when you started sadly :(
Right at the bottom I can see buggered plastic lad. I would personally be worried about ripping paint off with a machine polish.
I would personally talk to a body shop about a quick repair. Shouldn't be too bad.
Still can't see it in the original post :S
Cheers Gallorific. PC will get rid of a lot of that, but not all, still can't really tell how much depth there is there.
Run your finger nails over it, if they catch you need it filling and respraying.

I would hope that most of that would come out with a decent cutting compound. But wouldn't put my money on it. Could certainly get it looking a lot better!
ha, but where is the fun in that ;)
Can I just point out, that in this test, the chap has not used any paint depth guages. So when he says that it was not cutting enough, he has no idea how much paint he has taken off.
Still would not let T-Cut anywhere near my paint work, or my customers'!
Can I just point out that those are not the Renault ones. The true Renault ones have a lip. Not many people own a set of the real ones, think Chrispearson was one of a few on here.
I heard that if you let all the air out of your tyres it makes for a better launch off the line. Could also be true for a higher top speed? Lower to the ground would mean less wind resistance? This is why I run on 8" wheels and rubber bands. Yo.
They are a genuine Renault part, just like the skirts that Mark Middo had fitted to his old ph2 non sport.
They retail for a lot more than 30 quid Ed. Especially if they are painted.
As Paul has said, you can use either specifically designed polishing cloths, or polishing pads (foam applicators).
When polishing wheels and metal, I use a mixture of the two. The cloths are great for more difficult areas, where as the pads are great for more easy to reach, open surfaces...
If the clio is being driven, as Stephen says, it is quite difficult not to damage the paintwork without a proper washing method.
If it is being kept relatively clean then I would suggest something like Megs no:16 Last Touch or a decent Quick Detailer. However, the cause of all scratches and...
As stated above, you will need to get a machine polisher on the head lights. Depending on where you are based (I know it's leamington, but I have no idea how far these guys are from you) you could get JMS Tuning to sort it for you.
Have a look at their homepage and go to the services section...
If memory serves, two bolts just underneath the boot lid that are clearly visible, two bolts behind the wheel arch lining that you need to undo the lining to get at. All are torx screws, buggered if I can remember what size though!
Oh and the arch liners won't fit from a non sport as the rear...
Will have a gander at that later on Rich lad, cheers.
I haven't clayed the whole car in quite a while, I will occasionally use it to get rid of clay spots, however.
