if it is a charge of 130 quid it is a minor issue mate. if they had said 500 quid you have fucked it lol, but 130 sounds like 45 standard charge to "check" the problem, and hours labour to solve it, and a couple of quid on top for "parts" ie bullshit i would get a mobile auto electrician...

sounds like a blown fuse when you were messing around lad, believe me i have a stockpile of spares from fiddling with hardwiring stuff in as they seem to blow if you breathe on them too heavily!! check the fuse box, might be worth checking the most obvious ones, if in doubt, check them all...

depends on how bad the plastics are, mine i just use srp on a finishing pad for cars like run arounds and estates etc i might up that to menz IP on a cutting pad, then final finish or srp, what ever i am in the mood for. how bad are your lights to have to use pastx??

when i have been gathering quotes for cambelt etc each has put it in the quote and said if it doesnt need doing, we'll just not do it and not charge you accordingly. jamie

the thread above is about the acryllic sealent symon mate, ali seems to think it is better than egp (spray and easier on/off) but is also suggesting chemical guys blitz as a good choice, be worth a read chap. unsure on the rest of the kit thought, what does it contain? jamie
