Get Birchdown to fit AST Top Mounts and problem solved!!!!!! Will update this thread with pictures of them when I have...
There are no advantages. However, if he wants a replica then the cost is usually not an issue.
All in you are looking at around 500-750 for parts, around 1000-1500 for spraying. Then wheels, xenons at 250, fogs, splitters around 75, the list goes on and on mate.
All the same mate, no difference in bolt size, that is only for the hubs when ordering coil overs. HOWEVER, you will need them machining if you lower in coilies as these require a different size (I actually don't know if it is the top hat for the spring, or some other part!)

Dave,
Mine are being setup at Demon Tweaks. It costs 60 quid for full camber, castor and tracking to be done. The top mounts were fitted by Birchdown. Think it is about an hour to fit, but my car was in for a service with them as well, so now idea on pricing.
Mine are currently being fitted at Birchdown and being setup by Demon Tweaks, will PM you with some more info once I have driven her home this afternoon.
There have been a couple of group buys for the AST top mounts. However, currently KAM racing are struggling to get hold of them (not by any fault of their own).
Best emailing them on here or on the site, see where they are up to, and taking it from there.

Forget the yellow pointer/circle, copied from Google, its the red adjuster on...
Pretty extensive, adjusted mine quite substantially after having a bump (new ones seemed to be positioned really high!) and lowering the car.
As Tom said, legally they should all have auto leveller on the rear axle as well as washers. However, the vast majority do not have either of these and...
