Mines never asked for anything more than tyres, pads and disks and the occasional spring. Both clios have been fantastic compared to the fiesta I started with.

My cars gonna need new front tyres soon, currently Ps3s all round but been quoted £260 for two at my local garage so might have to change to hankook v12s.
Can anyone recommend where they get there tyres from/fitted in the northwest at a reasonable price?
Also are the ps3s worth the extra...
I would fit the old filter back on and see if the problem goes then at least you know its definitely the air filter causing the problem.
If the engines getting more air it could be causing the mass air flow meter to get in-accurate readings hence the engine management light.
Mine had an issue where it wouldn't go above 3000 rpm at random intervals, had it on the computer countless times but never found any answers, took it off the road not long after and used it as a field car.
Just thinking my mate has his M3 insured on one of those low mileage schemes and the insurer gave him a free tracker to monitor the mileage, might be worth it if your not doing massive miles.
A cheap way would be to use an old mobile with gps wired to the battery on pay as you go.
Although I think the best deterrent is to put it in a garage or somewhere it's hard to get machinery to it.
You could get a Canon 450D for under £200 second hand possibly even a 500D.
If you just want some great shots of your car get in touch with some aspiring photographers most will take some decent shots for free as long as you let them use the images and give them some free advertising.
