Where abouts is the wire? If its a stereo cable, could be an attenuation wire, or if its near an alarm, it could be the negative-pulse wire which is used to start other equipment when the alarm is activated.
That looks like it'll do the job perfect, good way to save space and weight. Bit pricey if I wanted to get two tho, so maybe just fit a drivers one since I drive alone mostly. Think that'll be ok??
Going to turn my sub down for a while and see if I can survive without all that bass lol
Did consider this but it'd mean reinforcing the shelf and still taking up boot space and I don't want it on show like that, maybe if I had tints.
That is an excellent idea! Could prob fit an 8" woofer without taking up too much space. Simple MDF job?
What about getting 2 6" woofers secured...
Hi guys, I'm starting to need my boot space a lot more so am considering removing my sub. Is there any other good alternative to producing some bass but doesn't take a lot of space? Would 6.5" mid bass/woofer like these work...
You could tell them it'll be kept at both but if you say it'll be at uni more then they'll most likely just put that address. I have the prob that I'm at London uni so I just told them its kept at home address, which it is a lot, but do have it in london frequently. If something happens, just...
Just finalized elephant.co.uk payment as they were cheapes, saved a tenner cos had put in wrong date for dad's points, so £541 for 12 months fully comp with £400 excess, inc temp car and legal services (never go without that after last accident!).
Most companies make young drivers have a...
Close at 7, so will call tomo. What's their limit tho? I mean could I get bodykit (I wont lol), alloys, lowered, tints, lights etc without paying anything extra???
Close at 7, will call them tomo, cheers.
What's their limit? I mean could I go mad and get bodykit (I wont lol), alloys, lowered, lights, tints, anything else?? and it
Well I'm not looking to spend money on alloys and springs tbh but if I did they would prob be cheap. If I don't tell them tho, it will void my insurance. Only paying cos more desireable to theifs (which to me is a gd reason not to bother).
Well I might just stick with elephant then, no-one has come close at all. Only thing is, they wanted an extra £60 for lowering and putting on alloys which is decent but they won't pay out for the springs or wheels, just give me market value of car if stolen, this usual for insurance companies?
Is yours a key with immobiliser built into the key fob? Mine is and was about £120.
Got blade cut by my dad's friend for free (usually £5-10), key fob was £76 (was £90ish but they messed me about so reduced it) and £38 for getting it programmed to work the c/l (was £50 but my dad pushed them...
Just tried Bell, £930 with £550 excess! Admiral and Diamond (they do men too!) use same system as Elephant and wanted more! Also Budget are not budget at all!
Will I be ok if I go with elephant?
Are elephant.co.uk reliable? And good when it comes to claiming or will the be a pain in the arse?
Elephant.co.uk:
£610 with £350 excess
£550 with £400 excess
Rac:
£650 with £370 excess
Both identical policies, where's the catch?
Anyone better for young drivers? (20yrs, 2 NCB...
What he said!!! I fitted mine and didnt have a chane to secure it, 2 days later had an accident and....
Thank god no-one was in the back! Now my amp and sub are stuck down with the extra-stong, extra-wide velcro you can get from halfrauds or diy shop, well worth it and can be removed if...
Don't forget to spend a bit and get really good cables, check what hi-fi for current best. They really do make the difference and as they say "Your system is only as good as the worst component".
If it was a repair, it will sort windows issues out and not harm your data...a restore tho might do that OR restore windows and format your harddrive and therefore lose all your data. There are ways you could retreive deleted data but it rely isn't easy at all, need right software and people to...
Tbh I'm not too sure about that. Best bet atm is to try googling it, there are a lot of good sites about xp etc and should be a lot about registry on there.
Is there not a sony disc with windows options to repair windows without formatting?
Btw, if you were thinking of upgrading your...
Exactly the same as my 1.4 8v! Wish I had an extra 8v! Change into 5th at 90 but never normally goes past 110. I've stopped trying now though.....*runs to car to go and try.....runs back in....not worth congestion and driving ban*
I think this was the one I nearly bought a few months ago Sony CMT-SPZ900DB
http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.action?product=CMT-SPZ90DB&site=odw_en_GB&pageType=Overview&category=HFS+CD+Music+System
Its powerful and I've had a few sony hi-fis before and they have been excellent. Look...
I think there is an option on the windows cd to repair windows, I don't THINK this formats your harddrive but read it all very carefully.
Also don't think you can boot from a usb stick, go to your bios to see. Find the order to boot up from, normally floppy disc (if you have one), cd...
I bought my w810i from carphone warehouse just after new year. 12 months, 400 mins, 100 texts, bluetooth headset for £17.50 a month (half price by cash back offer). My dads on his 2nd contract with them now, CPW offer good service and deals and do give money back IF you remember to send off your...
He can put insurance in his mum's name BUT he has legally be classed as the main driver if he does the majorityof the driving. But that'll pretty much cost the same as insurancing it in his own name,so he might as well get more NCB.
Outta interest mate, why did you mod a 1.2? I wanna put...
Its ok atm, but it broke down in esso in ascot highstreet on christmas day! Was very pissed off! Turns out it was the starter motor right at the bottom of the engine, it was really dirty, so RAC man gave it a clean. Its ok for now, but need to get a new starter motor soon. You ordered your...
