I wouldnt if thought so mate i had a search on here and williams clio and folks have put higher ampage alternators on with no problems

Fitted a new alternator to my williams last weekend the old one that was on it was 70amps rating and the new one i've put on is 90 amps. Looked under the bonnet yesterday and the battery was boiling hot and acid was leaking out it. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

There's an exhuast place up my way that has 2 of them running silly power from what he said. They never move though.

Yup it's s**t scary had the exact same thing happen to me in my old 306 funny thing is it happened just after i picked it up from a garage who noticed the catch was sticking a bit but thought i already knew so didnt bother telling me, c***s.

So basically i was reversing out my driveway and the rear drivers side disc has decided to crack and break in half :mad:. Anybody know the cheapest place for discs?

I paid £1000 did have a few things wrong with it electrical wise but that was due to the last owner fitting a sound system and not putting in the right fuses etc rust wise theres not alot tbh drivers side wing is rotten which is quite common if not maintained and theres...

The engine mounts/gearbox mounts are needing changed on my williams. I bought some second hand ones off ebay but i'm having second thoughts about putting used mounts in. Is it worth buying the KTR uprated ones or new OEM ones and whats the difference between the two?

The clutch on mine is pretty stiff aswell tbh i thought it's just what theyre all like.

The alternator had decided to die on my williams and i've heard that you can put a 172 cup one in with the advantage being a bigger output from it am i right? and will it fit?

Aye kinda mate it's a little project for me and my brother was a total heep when we got it but we've fixed her all up just need to get it resprayed now.
