can you get a mate who knows what hes looking at to go with you ??
if not, try the rac & get one of their blokes to look the car over.
or maybe buy off some one on here.
Did it have an induction kit, or the standard air box ?
i cant comment on a valver with an I/K but mine was standard, with the standard air box & it did not make any high pitched noises at all.
Bit of a long shot - did the car have an amp wired up?
as if you put the power lead & the earth next...
ha ha, no mate im a bloke !!
i just think that your car looked so much better before hand, especially when i saw a few pics of it at one of the meets, it looked spot on.
I always used to get a garage to service my valver -
A, i couldnt be asked to change the oil in it etc.
B, there was no way i was going to struggle messing about trying the remove the filter.
Like most jobs on valvers, removing oil filters are a pain in the arse !
bump it up.
What else is there out there ??
quite a few people on here seem to have plug in sat nav, what have you got ??
plus any decent websites would be much appreciated.
thanks.
Craig.
totally, that means he has lost almost £5000 on it in 2 months !!
hmm, now that is depreciation. I do like the seats though, i have only ever seen them in trophys.
As most of you have said, an escort looks spot on as it is, i think maybe a set of rondells, or azevs are all you can do to improve the looks of them.
as they look the dogs on 18s etc.
I dont like the front bumber on the top pic of the cos, i think that whole wrc look looks dated now...
you will need more than luck then if its that shape !
not to mention the huge hike in insurance for the wheels & custom bits etc, plus the engine conversion.
personally i dont think its worth it, but hey its your money - love to see the finished result !
speak to phantome46, his pink modded valver runs 19s see what set up he has used.
to get anything over 16s on a non valver arched clio is a bit of a mission, if your planning 19s on a normal clio, id forget it tbh.
as for the brakes, you wont ned huge discs on the rear !
as nearly all of the...
mine used to do it too, it used to proper annoy me.
when i had my new engine put in the pump came with it (its too much of a job to take them apart) & the pump i got was fine, so it didnt do it any more.
i like it as it is, tuninis would look spot on though.
your engine bay doesnt look that dirty tbh. if you got a new header tank it would really make it look clean.
im sure you can paint the manifold as well ?? god knows what paint youd use though !
escort cosworth - it wont depreaciate, but they are old now, so finding a minter may be hard.
A mk1 v6 clio wont really drop much more either as there not that many of them about, plus they dont make them any more.
