if that was my dealer, theyd just take it off one they were selling !! my dads spare on his mk2 172 was cr*p, half of it wernt even silver (even though it was a brand new alloy) so they just swapped it with the spare of the other one they were selling !!!

yer man, but the plate on retention & get a willy any way !! (im lucky with my plate as the letter is at the other end-as its a suffix reg) my plate is on retention at the min though.

if its an aug 1996 onwards car then it will be a p reg, if its upto aug then it will be an n reg, some one correct me if im wrong.

I borrowed a bit off my old man for my valver & have since paid for it. My dad bought his mk2 172 out right. now im saving for my next car & will buy that out right. my mates got a 14k loan on his s2000 at the age of 23 !

tom, a 106gti isnt slower mate, they are about the same. Personally I wouldnt say no to one, my mate had a yellow one & it was lovely.
