my 1.2 has a gas tank for my lpg conversion in the boot, and in the wet it still grips like mad, road tested a few sports, after services and such like at work, and they twitchy as heck on rear. bigger engine must disturb wieght distribution even our standard 1.2 courtesy cars handle better...

chopped cat out and welded straight through pipe back in, bear in mind mine is an 8v so yours will be diff :rasp:

my car does 27mpg average :o and for buying a cat go to scrapyard, or make your own decat pipe like moi :D

i had a decat on mine before i got my cat back done aswell, and with just the decat i noticed a difference, on tick over sounds baisically the same but give it some beans and you can hear how much the engine wants to rev more :D

most diesels are 8v vauxhall make a 16v diesel :approve:

8v 1.2 is cheaper to insure than 16v, thats one thing to take into considereration, i love my 8v :D

on my 1.2, i know its not a sport but, i have ducting like above onto throttle body and then have pipercross filter mounted behind the grile pretty similar to this below you can just see the filter in this pic below it sounds the nuts and has no choice but to suck cold air in...

whats your front box on the exhaust shaped like we had to weld a skid on ours as went you clip a stone it rips box apart, just a thought :D
