The MkVI really needs the optional 18's, too. Bulkier front bumper and skirts make the 17's look smaller than on the MkV.

Depends on the car, TBH. That example really doesn't pull off the drift kit. The wheels only add to the awkwardness, too. Imagine the same car, in a mental colour, with some JDM dishes with super-low offset. Mint.
