Integras were never in Prouction BTCC (Class B) A full BTC spec car (Dynamics Integra) would need massive work to make it eligable for Tintops. Making it pointless. Cant run the gearbox or any of the body work. AFAIK it was built for Britcar.
Was a lovely day and the pictures are stunning. Ours were great (first wedding Dan did) and these are even better. Shame its his last. Has a talent for it
2x ex-BTCC 306's on the grid too and a 3rd one joining soon. The rules are kept simple to avoid restricting too many people. The DM series last year had some BMW's turn up from another series and they were so high spec they lapped the field (going round Silverstone 7-8 seconds a lap faster) they...
Its a quick car, some of the times it can do at other places is crazy. Its always been one of the front runners and the guy that owns/drives it (Nigel Ainge) has had it along time and done Britcar etc
Yes, without a single doubt. I started to get confortable/get into a rythum 2 laps before I...
How do you mean?
The Integra's quickest lap prior to Mike Jordan getting in was a 56.0...... Fastest lap with him behind the wheel (and half the back end missing) 53.9
Tonys fastest in our car a 56.2....... Mine was a 56.6
I know, fact is we are on their pace this year it apprears. Just took me a while to get down to the times I should of been doing. Only had 4 laps in quali. Tony got the most out of the car but thats to be expected givien his experiance. if I match his fastest lap during a meeting im well...
It worked well, I think we'd of lost out big time if we pitted first lap of SC as the field was still so spread out, chances of getting a Red pit exit light would of been higher. Was the perfect call. Spot on chaps
Yes, very much so. It means more as its Brands, always a very compatative field and we beat many faster cars. Im alittle dissapointed with my stint but know where I went wrong and am still learning
Brands Hatch 2012 Race Report
So a long winter break was finally over and we were at the first meeting of the season.
Brands Hatch Indy Circuit had never been kind to us in the past, our best result being 10th last year. We were feeling more comfortable after our...

Yes, it plods along well
Goes like a stabbed rat in fact. Can't thank Danny at 519 enough. As you can see it keeps up with the Civics in a straight line now
Yes the Dunlops are very much a race type tyre compound, when warm really, really good. Hence the need for us to get the toyos for damp/wet. R888's require less heatup as they are softer/more road based compound (IMO) so we hope the R1R's are similar but with more tread.
Its seams to be a...
yea saw that but as i said, surprised your pricing that up and not an ecu and loom. You have a 10 year old, French, Road car wiring loom thats been disturbed (not got much going for it) and now plays up. Reliability before speed mate. Just my opinion and I know Tony would say the same. Thats the...
Yes, I was in the car at the time so had a great view ;)
I already have the unwatermarked version of that pic thanks to Dunganick, will be going in the report when ive finished it
Really surprised to hear you say that mate. Id of thought £1k was better spent on an ecu and new loom than an LSD at this stage. We raced the first season without one.
But at least you will get less wheel spin as you pull away from stopping to restart the car twice per race
As expected we are quicker in a stright line now. We look quick in fast corners too (Surtees) so Silverstone will be interesting
It was a good start, love doing them now
