Having owned the original Go-pro and recently borrowing Dan's HD version, they have come on a LONG way. Tried several others and they just dont compare.
We have a Toshiba Cameio P30 for external stuff, used it for the in car camera untill this season.
Footage looks like this on SD but does...
We replace ours after 12 hours of running. Had cheaper ones fail after less than that.
Car is Track only. Genuine Renault ones last much better than pattern parts from our experiance
Car was more 'edgy' in testing, better setup now, slower but more consistant. Excluding 1st 2 laps and pitstop phase every lap we did was within 1 second
Got some new video editing software and with help from Ian_s who lent us his data logger ive made this video. Comparision of each of us doing our 2 fastest laps. Bit of fun and quite interesting :approve:

Normal practice to keep it cool is to have a long pipe run in front of the radiator. could get a pipe made up or get one off another car and get it fitted together. wouldnt be too hard. Most big saloon cars have a 'cooler' (long pipe that turns back on itself several times)
Its an awfull lot of work for a road car mate. the rack is the same, needs a custom hose made or the saxo and clio hoses joined by hydralics speacialist. Its fitted on our car where the abs lives on a road car so to do exactly the same would involve moving htat or finiding somehwere else to put...
