    Alternatives to a GoPro HD?

Having owned the original Go-pro and recently borrowing Dan's HD version, they have come on a LONG way. Tried several others and they just dont compare. We have a Toshiba Cameio P30 for external stuff, used it for the in car camera untill this season. Footage looks like this on SD but does...

    rear bearings keep going......

We replace ours after 12 hours of running. Had cheaper ones fail after less than that. Car is Track only. Genuine Renault ones last much better than pattern parts from our experiance

    Burpspeed: Fastest laps Comparision Video

Car was more 'edgy' in testing, better setup now, slower but more consistant. Excluding 1st 2 laps and pitstop phase every lap we did was within 1 second

    And what were your findings?

    Shorter gear ratio..........

Just parts. Fitting would involve gearbox rebuild. If you have a phase 1, gains can be had by fitting a phase 2 box

    Shorter gear ratio..........

The OP means the final drive ratio (crown wheel and pinion)
  15. Jay Payne

    Shorter gear ratio..........

When we looked into it we found it to be around £700. Plus it makes 1st gear pretty useless. Not ideal for us at a race start

Normal practice to keep it cool is to have a long pipe run in front of the radiator. could get a pipe made up or get one off another car and get it fitted together. wouldnt be too hard. Most big saloon cars have a 'cooler' (long pipe that turns back on itself several times)

Its an awfull lot of work for a road car mate. the rack is the same, needs a custom hose made or the saxo and clio hoses joined by hydralics speacialist. Its fitted on our car where the abs lives on a road car so to do exactly the same would involve moving htat or finiding somehwere else to put...
