Sounds like the ecu had to relearn the settings or something makes little to no difference to the output of the alternator on a modern car.

Lol, making a loom from scratch using a plug for the ecu. you'll see it soon enough. In answer to your PM Dave, the wiring & connectors all come from a company called Sintek.

PM sent wih diagram. using 2mm for fuel pumps, wipers, blower, coil power, injector power (then splits into 4x1mm to feed them) alternator IND, starter trigger, etc All the high powered stuff. Icuras said you can get away with 1.5mm wire but they only did 5 colours. I dont think i need to...

Dave im not using diagrams, make it up as I go along, its not that hard. Using 1mm cable for lights and sensors, 2mm for everthing else. All completely from scratch, no Renault loom at all
