When will the thermostat ever close while running?
The last thing we want is to miss a race because the thermost has stuck shut while warming up pre race. This way it cant close, the only down side is it will take slightly longer to warm up. Not really an issue.

23rd September 2009 - Flywheel
A week or so ago we dropped off our spare flywheel to a local machine shop. Its just come back. They tend to specialise in big race engines and classic Ferraris and stuff. They lightened the flywheel down to 4.5kgs and rebalanced it. The clutch face was also...

The front end got a few coats of primer and silver paint today. We want the engine bay to look super neat and tidy. All under the arches too.
