Imo id bin the strut brace before cutting the bonnet (you wont notice its not there on the road) Our bonnet was already cut about and its a race car so it dont matter

Tell your mate to hold the camera still whilst your driving, he was a bit wobbly. Looks like you need to try and get rid of some of the understeer on those tighter venues. Thought about a rolll bar or some silly stiff rear springs?
