Surely the fact that its a smooth pulley would of be obvious what side it needs to go. Fair play mind getting it to fit like that, must of been a struggle

4 is at cambelt end but it dont matter is you get 1+4 mixed up or 2+3

Also worth checking the main connection on the alternator,very common for them to break
