    Having had a Phase 2 on Eibach pro and stock. A phase 1 on H&R's and driven several other makes of coilovers (AST, GAZ etc) and eibach sportlines, Id say that stock shocks and eibachs are the way to go for B roads. It may be the roads around here but an eibach'd car is soooo much nicer to drive...

    that type of noise could be de-phaser pulley on the engine or the carbon canister valve.

    I thought about taking the whole lot off and taking them to a mates garage to get them out but felt it would eb a backwards step to take stuff off id just fitted, Lol. Still got the back to do yet :rolleyes: hope they come out easier

    Went in to see the hydralics pipe man on wednesday, he said he didnt have any gas to weld my pipe up and it might be a few days. Told him i wasnt in a rush but he rang me 4 hours later and said it was done! Legend tbh. £31 to join the two bits of pipe and did a great job as before. Looked good...

    Motor may be on the way out. remove the panel where the pollen filter is. The motor is in there (has a black and red wire going to it) need to see if there is any power getting there when the fan is on but not working.

    It looks slightly easier to do on the phase 1 due to the fog light design. Mine are 75mm. Probably too big for the phase 2 Id have a go with a 50mm pipercross caf kit off ebay mate if I were you. much cheaper than the 'proper' ducts. Have a look in my project thread for insperation
