    Clio for track use advice???

    If i was going to buy another car for track (i.e after the Clio goes) it would be an elise/vx220 or mx5 My track 172 Engine are strong, need the belts doing at 72k, 5 years or earlier. Id budget for this if you buy one.

    Exhaust mis-fire?

    yea they do pop/stutter a little from the exhaust when idle. Altho the recomended change for plugs is 5 years 72k, depends on what yours is, but my plugs were ruined at 50k

    Just re read your original post, on a separate note, why didnt you use the hard shoulder to build up speed to match the traffic before pulling out? Do you stop at the end of a slip road and wait for someone to let you in? :S

    iirc there is a common (ish) problem with a switch on the 182's. might be the brake pedal. Dont quote me tho

    Malfunction Indicator Light also know as, emission light, eobd light, etc Faxo does your scanner have a live reading function? If so see what that sensor is doing. when warm the sensor should produce a fluctuating signal of around 0.1v-0.9v
