    Mclaren F1

Yeah, good point on the insurance, that'd be the killer. :dapprove: I think the older generation would have a good go, considering the weight of some of the new breed!

    car problems!!

Not if it's cat-back, it shouldn't have. Although there's a chance you've disturbed something when you've fitted it. Most likely a lambda sensor. You're best off getting the fault code before anything else.

    car problems!!

Ph2 172 then. Most of that still applies. you won't have an ICV though, so check the MAP and lambda sensors. They'll be two on your car, one before and one after the cat. They're normally the cause of rough running. It might be worth a trip into a dealer to get it diagnosed before you start...

    Cult Cars...

Which older cars would you consider to have a cult following? Off the top of my head, i can think of a few. The thing is, where do you draw the line between cars you like, and a true cult car? I'm unsure TBH. I've tried to keep it to older cars that are rare in the UK. There's loads i've...

    car problems!!

What car? Ph1 172 by any chance? If so, check your idle control valve, your MAP sensor too and your lambda sensors. Depending on year, you'll either have one or two lambdas.

    Mclaren F1

One of the best, if not the best induction noise ever. A lot of people say that it's got a few fairly large flaws though, mostly stability releted

    nurburgring record broken again!!

I doubt it'd even get round TBH. They'd have to soften it right up and raise it a foot, just to stop it bottoming everywhere! IIRC, Nick Heidfeld did a few laps in a Sauber F1 a few years ago, as a BMW promotional. And they had to really tone the car down for it. I'd love to see it though...

engine doesnt seem to cam up

Yup! VVT is only on the inlet cam too.

    Clio 182 - Engine Gone 25k

More likely is the piston hitting the valve/s as they've bent and remained open. Making a knocking/tapping noise. Accessory belt should be changed at 36k, although your car is out of warranty, you should have some weight with saying it's not fit for purpose.
  28. Christopher

    Wish List LOL!

Fcuk that! That's £15k including the car

She let me down on friday night - The Red Button

Nope, that's not an issue. The inertia switch has nothing to do with it.
