Great track time, was really getting the hang of it come the end, first session didnt really produce much footage worth watching as in the second session I was much faster. I think the wind had died down into the banked corner in the afternoon, as the car felt a little more stable on turn in...
sorry i ment ride, can be a bit bumpy at times on uneven roads. Im copairing my old phase 2 on prolines to my stripped phase 1 with h&r's.
I'll shut up
I have h&r's and tbh its a bit shite on the road (uneven B roads I mean) compaired to just lowering springs. First coilover'd car ive had tho so could just be what they are like.
But on track it is amazing!
Not sure if some cheeper kits with adjustable damping would be any better
might be worth waiting for a set of used h&r's. they come up for around that money. Cheep ones available new but as i understand it, it depends what u want them for.
Show or go?
The picture you have posted, is that the way u have been trying to fit the washers and rubber etc?
Or did u just put them on the shocks at random to take the pic?
Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread
Some pics of stuff i havent posted before.
My 'custom' camera mount, LOL
Got a boot net for holding stuff down while on the road. Only works when the spare is in.
Yesterday i got some grip tape for the foot well.
The stuff is like...
The amount of rubbish blowing around on the main straight was unreal in the second session. had to dodge all the bags, didnt want one covering the radiator
We did!
Thanks to Day for sorting it all out, really enjoyed it. Second session especialy.
Any idea why we ended up on the shorter BTCC style layout, instead of the big international one that was advertised?
