Incorrect.
Wheels are a lower offset.
Alternator setup is different.
Loom is different.
Gearbox is different - It takes the reading from the 'box due to lack of ABS/ABS rings that the normal 172 uses.
Headlights/levelling are all different (manual)
Windscreen is not heat-reflective...
It was more a reply to Iain's comment about a Vee being the same to run as a 1*2.
My major service on my Ph1... inc. all belts and a new water pump was only £370!
That's before you factor in tyres being £140 ish a pop and 22-odd MPG if driven the same as a 1*2.
I used to really want one too... i very nearly bought an average-mile Mk1 instead of my 182.
Nowadays, they do very little for me, i must admit. :S
You NEED to drive one too.
