Hoping to get some tickets for Saturday.
Any advice on parking? I guess I’ll be aiming for a public car park, unless you can pay to park somewhere more convenient?
What kind of time do I need to arrive?
Sounds like you need the following pictures photoshopped:
1) Front with red accent
2) Rear with red accent
3) and 4) As above but with black wheels back on
Now who’s good at that kind of thing, Andy, do you know anyone? ;) @SharkyUK
Is that the age of the tyre or how long ago you bought them? The two could be poles apart. Maybe check the month/year of manufacture as shown on each tyre.
My folks are in their 70s and want a replacement TV. Given the state of their hearing most of the budget will be going on a soundbar, with whatever's left on the set itself.
Tech like 4K will be wasted when all they really want is something they can pause then resume without going down the...
Some will be correct. Some will be larger - many folk use spigot rings with no issues.
Anything is possible with a smaller centre bore but it would be more hassle than it’s worth.
If you haven’t yet sorted replacement boot struts then check out the cliotrophy forum as there’s a thread devoted to the subject, including links to various items including Bilstein, Magnetti Marelli, SGS, all of which do the proper job - of holding the boot lid in a position where you’re almost...
April 2018 - 66,000 miles
This month has seen a few outgoings on both cars - the Trophy had a service, MOT and 12 months tax was due, and the Mazda also needed an MOT, 12 months tax (although I'll probably SORN it again over winter) and it needed insuring.
Now we're in April and we've hopefully...
I use ARM Ltd in Newbury, although I'm not sure which end of Berkshire you're from.
Andy is a Renault specialist who looks after a variety of 1*2s including a handful of Trophys.
Top man, top work, good prices, but most of all he's got expert knowledge.
Nicely done Rob, I look forward to seeing it up close at a meet sometime.
If you're after any recommendations I'd suggest getting in touch with Detail My Car for a quote. They're based at New Greenham Park on the Basingstoke side of Newbury, and the quality of work they deliver is really...
Cheers Scott.
I took them to City Powder Coaters in Birmingham. It's not close but for £20 per wheel it's ridiculously good value and worth the drive. At that price I could change colour every year.
They have 3 anthracite options, all displayed on the wall in reception, I just went for the...
I've just picked up the Ultras, which I'll get wrapped in the Yoko rubber in the coming weeks, then they can go on the car.
I'm really happy with the colour, which isn't too far from the standard wheels.
But the point is, how many other mint, completely standard, 1/2 owner LYs are out there with only 30k miles on?
If you've got something unique you can price it however you like, but whether the demand exists is a different matter altogether.
The RS2 is a tried-and-tested product that not only offers performance gains of more than 2bhp but tends to hold good value on the used market, is a quality-looking product, doesn't affect reliability, allows you to retain features like cruise control, but also signifanctly enhances driveability...
It's like it was meant to be - McDriftin' goes to a rally on the white stuff, in the Volvo motherland.
Good write-up and great pics of what looks like a superb trip.
With a budget of £3k I think all you can do is limit depreciation, you haven't got a hope of making money, unless you take a blinkered approach and ignore all costs incurred and stop calling it 'an investment'.
At the end of the day all Renaultsport models are immense fun. Buy one and enjoy...
