Just a few small bits need doing before friday. As said booked in for coilover setup on tuesday. Got to adjust the rear bumper a little after pulling it around fitting the exhaust. Might remove the rear arch liners as they are SO close to the wheels...

Been very busy the last few days.
First on the list was to fit these things that have been gathering dust in the attic.
Out with the old......
And in with the new (second hand)...
Booked in for setup on Tuesday.
After i fitted them...
you will have to pump enough thourgh to get rid of the old stuff. obviously you will have to do it alot of times from the first corner to change the fluid in the resovior. then not so much from the others as it will be just the lines.
As said draining it is a bad ide as the abs pumps can be a...
draining is a bad idea. the trick is not to let air in.
Ive tried several different methods and the best one i found works well.
You need a mate to help.
1, mate pumps pedal till hard and holds
2, u release bleed nipple and pedal will drop to floor pushing out fluid.

He did some caravan wheels for a bloke i know and it would of been cheeper for him to buy new ones in the end
I have.
They told me that as long as its an approved venue, professionaly organised, helmets are being worn and the circuit has insurance, then i can do as many as i like without telling them.
Tbh the price was good considering the mods the car has and the track cover included.

Some more bits ive got done.
Finshed tidying up the ecu area and managed to squezze the cut out switch in there. Previously it was screwed to the bracket that goes from ecu to radiator area.
brackets made up and fitted to the pas pipe to stop it...

While the car is in bits ive taken the oportunity to change a few things inside. As ive driven it abit since the original build I found a few things i wasnt happy with. Just being fussy really.

no it doesnt display the track names. I have a 182 cd player in mine.
You do have full control from the head unit but tbh its easier to bite your own back than use one.......

I went last year. been a few times in the past too. Paid on the gate, think it was a tenner. You can only view at woodcote area normaly. I wont bother again this year. Boring tbh, the sound is awsome tho
my phase 1 'W' reg has an adjuster on the handbrake lever under the cover.
My old phase 2 '02' plate had it underneath the exhaust heatsheid and is tricky to get to.
Not sure which type a cup will have but its one of these
