I reckon the same will happen next year as this - CS represented with a static display of member's cars, and a marquee selling merchandise - but it's so far in the future don't expect anything official to be posted until after Easter next year...
I'll be there but it's less than an hour to home...
Re: Any specialists near Cardiff/South Wales? Wipers
Funny that both you & Sam had Trophy wiper issues in a similar part of the world within a day or two of each other...
Keep an eye on the South Central meets section as I plan to organise a driving meet in a few weeks, taking in the good driving roads around Wantage, Newbury, Lambourn etc.
I opted for the Sabelt RenaultSport offering and it's delivered a huge improvement to the driving experience - I feel so much more 'connected' to what's going on at the wheels.
My only gripe would be the aesthetics - Sabelt blue is not a good match for Trophy red/pink.
There have been multiple threads like this in the not too distant past, all ended the same way because of how the discussion went, not because of the content of the original post.
I'm good thanks Kyle, glad it's all sorted for you, you made a very good decision taking it to Mike.
Congratulations Kyle, you now have a great Cup in great shape thanks to Mike's top drawer mapping. Enjoy it!
(Time to lock thread before the inevitable?)
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
If it's worth something then someone might want to steal it, irrespective of what it is, nearly everything has a value.
It's a real shame Lawro, I hope you had it valued according to the time, money & effort you've clearly spent on this car since you owned it.
In my experience, while they improve the ride at low speeds, if you're after a drop you'll do well to get more than a millimetre or two compared to the standard Trophy springs, aesthetically the difference is negligible, even to a trained eye.
