Monaco is a mint colour full stop, only that and flame that i'd really consider for a 172. Still miss mine at bit tbh :dapprove:.
Someone one here still has it (or did).
Yeh but it runs well above 14 before 5k though? Haven't seen a 1*2 arf curve before but mine doesn't vary anywhere near that much. And same for a lot of other things I've seen. Don't think mine goes above 12 for the whole rev range.
If its got normal heating then you'll have a resistor pack because you've only got 4 fan speeds, as the climate control has 8 its uses pwm and a different thing entirely.
Its a PWM module that controls the fan, nope its 99.99999% be that thats gone pop. You can short pins 1 and 5 on the connector and it'll run full speed to proove it if you wish but I wouldn't even bother.
The climate control panel will still work along with the functions and it'll still be...
Nope it'll still leak, what does really really bad look like? If its never been wiped down considering how old the car is then its probably fine. Just check the level and clean it up, never a false economy to actually change the box oil anyway imo.
Unless someones took it off mk2 wise everything barring the 1.2 models (8 and 16 valve) and the 172 cup would have left the factory with underbonnet carpet. Personal choice, wear or a non thorough accident repair as it won't be. All of mine barring the 1.2 have had it fitted.
It doesn't because thats a proper xenon headlight casing which doesn't have a 12v feed to the back of the bulb and has the fixings for the xenon computer and ballast/starter.
If thats a proper xenon casing (which I think it is) then you won't be able to use an ebay-tastic hid kit because for 1 as lemonnobby says theres no 12v feed to the back of the bulb because xenons don't use one. 12v is fed to the ballast/starter and the computer and they do the rest for the step...
