That's come out stupidly well. Will be nice to see a clean and tidy engine in it when you're finished as the old one was the one thing letting the car down.
The dash is horrible. It's not so much the dash itself but just how much of a contrast that dull and bland interior is to the exterior.
The exterior has aged really well I think but then you get inside and it's just grim.
Sounds like a proper snotter of a day that! Can't blame you for just wanting to get out of there.
Overall the car doesn't look too bad to be fair, few exhaust mounts, dogbone (lower engine) mount (get a polybushed one if you can) and then the "sounds like a tractor" is probably what Scrooge...
After reading that it's even scarier how far out it was. I've probably missed it but was this engine ran for a full season? I'm seriously surprised it last that long if it did.
Nah. I did explain to Rob when he was asking my opinion and I did tell him the car isn't as mint as pictures show but it's been looked after mechanically very well. I know Paul has got anything done it's needed (bar the noisy pas pump as listed in the advert). But paint was a little poor in...
